In their anthology, published in Vienna in 1922, the avant-garde artists Laszlo Moholy-Nagy and Lajos Kassák presented the latest achievements in the visual arts, architecture, music and technology. The thematic combination of art and technology, the series of images, and Kassák's preface reveal the intention of this publication: it is a manifesto of Constructivism, the art movement that regarded technology as the measure of the new outlook on life.
