Description

CALVERT comes from a series of coffee tables designed in 1951 by Ferdinand Kramer during his time in America. Part of his successful "knock-down" furniture series, it consists of a tabletop and two interlocking pieces that act as a table frame. To celebrate 120 years of Ferdinand Kramer, CALVERT CHESS is presented as a chess table version of the well-known coffee table, based on a cardboard picnic table Kramer designed for Coca-Cola in 1951. The special edition CALVERT CHESS features a black chessboard pattern screen printed on the table top and is available in oak veneer. Due to the magnets built into this furniture, do not place any objects on the tabletop that are sensitive to magnetic fields (e.g. credit cards, smartphones).
